T55 six day war

The T55 is one of my favourite tanks,i have a great interest in the versions used by the Arab armies in the six day war and the october war (yom kippur) i used the beautiful Tamiya kit.

I start of withTamiya dark earth and graduly progres to a much lighter shade and finally using the AK interactive ak-009 for the final colour with some simple colour modulation.

 

Now for some oil washes and then highlite with the same AK colour.

I will now add some highlite and shading using oils.

I use the speckling technique by my all time favorite modeler Adam Wilder.
